At last, I have found the exquisite wine glass for my cellar of French Bordeaux! Yes, the glass is much more durable than Riedel, especially for such a fine, balanced stem, but that is just the beginning. There is plenty of room in the globe to swirl the wine and get adequate air for the nose of the wine. It easily seems to bring out the essences of the wine more readily. Also, I find the rims of the Reidel stems to be too sharp and not pleasing to put your mouth on, where the Schott Zwiesel stem is fine, but neither sharp nor too thick. I have also tried the champagne flutes and they make a good champagne that much better! I would propose this stemware to anyone who wants to heighten their wine experience. These glasses are beautiful, durable and practical.
